We require the competitors to be in the academy ready, one hour prior to the start time of your appointed division

*You can weight yourself anytime between the weight-in window time

**Your fight may start earlier or later than the appointed time depending how fast the previous fight occur.

Information:

No spectator fees. Parking on street - metered parking.

***New addition: Receive a free Tee-shirt with early registration before February, 29th 11:59pm

No registration day of event. Last day for registration is March, 12th 11:59pm

Weigh-ins with no uniform. Competitors that do not make weight MAY BE moved into a higher weight bracket only if possible. ANY weight changes must be done by Tuesday, March 13th, by 5pm via email.

Clean White | Blue | Black competition Gi’s accepted.

Podium will be 1st, 2nd and one 3rd place winner.

Following IBJJF rules, except:

• No Advantages

• Double pull, first to come up will score 2 points (after 3 seconds of stabilization)

• Last point to scores wins.

• 0-0 Referee’s Decision

WE HAVE STUDENT FROM VARIOUS SCHOOLS PARTICIPATING!

FOR YOUR $55, YOU WILL GET AT LEAST 2 FUN, COMPETITIVE MATCHES AND THE OPPORTUNITY TO HANG OUT WITH YOUR BUDDIES AND COMPETE TOGETHER AS A SCHOOL—ALL THE BEST PARTS OF A JIU JITSU TOURNAMENT WITHOUT ALL THE HASSLE, HIGH FEES AND JIU JITSU POLITICS! AND….YOU WILL MAKE IT POSSIBLE FOR KIDS TO TRAIN JIU JITSU IRREGARDLESS OF THEIR FAMILIES’ FINANCIAL SITUATION!

(SAME DAY WEIGH IN) Weigh-in guidelines for competitors is as follows:

1. All Athletes must clear weight prior to their first match.

2. Weigh-ins are with NO UNIFORM

3. The athlete cannot step on the scale with shoes or any item besides his/her regular uniform and equipment permitted for use during matches.

4. Each athlete shall only mount the official scale of the event to have his/her weight taken once unless authorized.

BELT & AGE DIVISIONS:

• Male and Female competitors will NOT fight together

• White belts will only fight with other white belts

• Juveniles will only fight with other Juveniles

• Adults and Masters may be mixed only for athletes with no brackets

• The age division will be determined by the birth year

• This is a friendship tournament and we will do our best to keep all weights categories, if possible.
